Legislative Knowledge

How many times have you heard an elected official talking about workplace issues and you thought to yourself, “I wish he/she really understood more about [fill in your favorite HR topic here]”?  Wouldn’t it be great if you could share your experience as an HR professional with lawmakers before they pass legislation that causes problems?  Well, you can.  The Legislative Action Roadshow will teach you how to become a legislative action expert the easy way.  You will also hear about the bills that you should "watch" this Legislative session.   Remember, knowledge is power.

Co-Employment Knowledge

This portion of our morning will address co-employment issues in relation to the EEOC, the ACA, OSHA compliance, and Worker’s Compensation.  You will learn the different nuances of these regulatory relationships and understand why co-employment is sometimes the best status for a staffing company’s client.  You will also learn strategies to address these issues with the client.
